Lines for Life, in partnership with Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties, welcomes you to attend the 2018 Tri-County Summit on Opioids and Addiction. Come join this first of its kind event as the Board of County Commissioners from the three metro counties, along with the District Attorneys and Sheriffs, hear from experts on a wide range of efforts underway to combat the opioid epidemic. The summit will also discuss a number of policies to improve the addiction treatment system, strengthen connections for individuals in the criminal justice system, and highlight recovery housing.
Doors will open at 8 a.m., with the summit beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. and will take place in the Hawthorn Room of the Clark Commons on the campus of Marylhurst University. Parking is free and refreshments will be available.
The summit agenda is nearing finalization and will be available on the Oregon Coalition for the Responsible Use of Meds (OrCRM) website as well as other summit details (www.orcrm.org). OrCRM, a service of Lines for Life, is a Statewide Coalition launched to prevent overdose, misuse and abuse of amphetamines and opioids, both prescription and illicit, among Oregonians.
